Procedure

Lipo 360

Lipo 360 is a cosmetic surgery procedure that involves removing excess fat from the abdomen, waist, back, and hips to create a more contoured and sculpted physique. The goal of Lipo 360 is to create a harmonious balance between the upper and lower body, giving the patient a more aesthetically pleasing silhouette. It is a safe procedure when performed by a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon, but it is important to fully understand the potential risks and benefits before undergoing the procedure.

Lipo 360 vs. Tummy Tuck

Lipo 360 and tummy tuck are both cosmetic surgery procedures used to enhance the appearance of the midsection. A Lipo 360 is a less invasive procedure that focuses on removing excess fat, while tummy tucks are used to remove excess skin and tighten the abdominal muscles. Tummy tucks are typically recommended for patients who have significant loose skin or a pronounced abdominal bulge, while Lipo 360 is recommended for patients with a relatively normal amount of skin elasticity and isolated pockets of fat. Tummy tucks are also a more invasive procedure, with a longer recovery period and a higher cost, compared to Lipo 360.

Safety and Recovery

Lipo 360 is considered a safe procedure when performed by a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon. However, as with any surgical procedure, there are potential risks and complications such as infection, bleeding, scarring, and changes in sensation. It’s important to have a thorough consultation with your surgeon to discuss the potential risks and benefits of the procedure and to ensure you are a good candidate for the surgery.

After Lipo 360, patients typically need to take a few days off from work and other activities to allow for adequate rest and healing. During the first week, patients may experience swelling, bruising, and discomfort, and may need to wear a compression garment to help minimize these symptoms. Most patients can return to work and light activities within 1-2 weeks, but strenuous activities and exercise should be avoided for several weeks. Full recovery can take several months, but the results of Lipo 360 can be long-lasting if the patient maintains a healthy diet and exercise regimen.

Cost and Price Differences

The cost of Lipo 360 can vary depending on the location, the surgeon’s experience, and the extent of the procedure. On average, Lipo 360 procedures can cost anywhere from $8,000 to $15,000.

In Mexico, the cost is significantly lower with savings between 40% to 60% from USA prices.

The Best Candidates

Lipo 360 is a popular procedure for both men and women who are seeking to improve their midsection contours. Men may choose Lipo 360 to enhance the appearance of their abs and reduce love handles, while women may choose Lipo 360 to create a more hourglass figure and eliminate stubborn pockets of fat.

Procedure details

Lipo 360

Lipo 360 is typically performed under general IV sedation and takes 1-2 hours to complete. During the procedure, the surgeon will make small incisions in the targeted areas and insert a cannula (a thin tube) to suction out the excess fat. The surgeon may also use ultrasound or laser-assisted technology to help break down the fat before removing it. The incisions are then closed with sutures and a compression garment is applied to help minimize swelling and promote healing.
